The National Chaccu Vicuñas 2009 held on 19 and 20 June in the main population center of the Commonwealth of Lucan in Lucanas district, and at the place called Ayhuamarca adjacent to the Pampa Galeras National Reserve.
Background
The National Chaccu Vicuñas done since 1993, and had the motivation essential to spread the rights, powers and capacities of rural communities to take responsibility for the protection, conservation, management and utilization of the vicuña.

The Vicuna Project staff will be trained in groups, assigning each group one or more chaccus on target, so that specialize in assigned operations and achieve greater efficiency.
The training will include topics relating to the technical aspects of chaccu that will be exposed to tourists and tourism values of the area, and overview of the Community of the Province of Lucanas and Ayacucho. They were also trained on safety protocols and first aid.

Ayacucho Lucanas peasant community tourism enterprise will
